Custom Voice is our premium service for authors who know what they're looking for or simply know that nothing in the library quite fits. You describe it, we build it.

And once it's created, it's yours alone. Your custom voice will never be used for any other author, book, or project. Not now, not ever. It is permanently and exclusively yours, protected from the moment it's created. Your order includes the voice creation and up to 2 revisions, so we can refine it together until it feels exactly right.

Once approved, return to AudioCraft Pro and order your audiobook using your new custom narrator. Your voice is saved and ready to use anytime.

A custom voice is rarely perfect on the first attempt and that's exactly why revisions are built into the process. Your order includes 2 free revisions. Once you receive your voice sample, listen carefully and tell us what to adjust. Too formal? Not warm enough? Slightly too fast? We'll go back in and refine it. The goal is a voice that feels genuinely right for your book — not just close enough. If after 2 revisions you'd like to continue refining, additional revisions are available for $69 each. There's no pressure and no deadline. We'll keep working until you're satisfied. One thing worth knowing: the more specific your original description, the fewer revisions you're likely to need. That's why we created the free guide. It helps you give us exactly what we need to get it right the first time.

Do I really own the voice permanently?

Yes. Completely and permanently. Once your custom voice is created, it belongs to you alone. AudioCraft Pro will never use it for any other author, book, project, or purpose — not now, not in the future. It is reserved exclusively for you from the moment it is created. You will find it saved in your account, ready to use whenever you return to order your audiobook.

What file formats can I upload my voice description in?

You can upload your voice description as a PDF, DOC, or DOCX file directly on this product page before checking out. Plain text works perfectly. There is no required format for the content itself, only for the file type.

How detailed does my description need to be?

It doesn't need to be long — it needs to be specific. A few well-chosen sentences covering accent, age, tone, pace, and the feeling you want the listener to have is enough. If you're not sure where to start, download our free guide. It walks you through each element with real examples from non-fiction authors, so you know exactly what to include.

What if I don't like the voice at all — can I start over?

Yes. If the first sample is not close to what you had in mind, your 2 included revisions give us the opportunity to adjust. If after 2 revisions the voice still doesn't feel right, we will work with you to understand what isn't landing and find a solution. We want you to end up with a voice you're genuinely happy with — that is the whole point of this service. Additional revisions beyond the 2 included are available for $69 each.

How long does it take to receive my voice sample?

We deliver your first voice sample within 5–7 business days of confirming your brief. If anything in your description is unclear, we will email you before we begin — so the clearer your description, the faster the process. Revision turnaround is typically 3–5 business days per round.

Can I use my custom voice for more than one book?

Absolutely. Your custom voice is yours to use for as many audiobooks as you like, for as long as you like. There are no per-book fees or usage limits. Simply return to AudioCraft Pro and order your next audiobook using your saved custom narrator.

Is this the same as voice cloning — using my own voice?

No. Custom Voice is a completely different service. With Custom Voice, we design and build a brand-new AI narrator voice based on your written description. It is not your own voice, and it does not require you to record anything. Voice cloning — where we replicate your actual speaking voice — is a separate service. What genres does the Custom Voice service work for?

AudioCraft Pro specialises in non-fiction audiobooks. Our Custom Voice service is designed for authors writing in genres including self-help, personal development, memoir, business, leadership, healthcare, legal, finance, science, spirituality, and biography. We do not currently produce fiction, thrillers, or children's audiobooks.

What happens if I want to order my audiobook but I haven't approved my voice yet?

Please wait until you have approved your custom voice before ordering your audiobook. Your voice needs to be finalised before production can begin. If you have any questions about timing or next steps, email us at admin@audiocraftpro.com and we'll be happy to help.

Can I order the Extra Revision before I receive my sample?

There's no need to order additional revisions in advance. Your order already includes 2 revisions. If you need more after those are used, simply return to this page, select "Extra Revision" from the dropdown, and add it to your cart. Each additional revision is $69.

What is your refund policy for Custom Voice?

Because Custom Voice is a bespoke, made-to-order service, we are unable to offer refunds once work has begun. However, we want you to end up with a voice you genuinely love — which is why every order includes 2 free revisions, with additional revisions available at $69 each.
